Last spring, HBO shared first details regarding plans for multiple Game of Thrones prequel series, four to be exact. While producers for the premium network are yet to share details on each of the four shows, a fifth series has been announced this week from Entertainment Weekly.
Series co-executive producer Bryan Cogman, has been tapped to have his own show, which HBO is currently developing. Unfortunately, no information has been revealed from the premium channel, with the exception of it taking place before the original season 1 of Game of Thrones.
At the moment, HBO is still mulling whether or not the final season of thrones will air in 2018, or take their time and push it to 2019. We believe a few of these could be limited-series, getting straight through a few stories – with others having more than one season.
